The Evaluations Of Taxonomic Classifications In The Genus Trifolium L. Based On ITS Sequences

The genus Trifolium L. belonging to family Fabaceae is represented by about 255 species in the world. Two classifications based on sections or subgenus are commonly used researchers taxonomically evaluation of Trifolium. However, there still some confusing and complex situations taxonomy genus. For this reason, internal transcribed spacer (ITS) regions between rDNA genes nrDNA were examined for 139 taxa with Maximum Parsimony (MP) method. Furthermore MP tree evaluated two classification provide contributions taxonomic evaluate phylogenetic relationships species. Study results support status proposed new infrageneric classification. Also it can be stated that rationale divide section Lotoidea into several according examined. Finally, study reveals importance sequence information problems barcoding.
